Goa, the most splendid tourist destination of India is located on the western coast. Hemmed by vast Arabian sea from west, Goa is blessed with some exotic beaches. Along with these world class beaches, places of worships and World Heritage Architecture, Goa attract thousands of both National and International visitors every year.

Getting around in Goa is quite easy. This tiny coastal land has a good transportation system and is well connected by rail with several Indian cities. Most of its tourist spots are well covered by extensive network of rail. Goa has two major railway stations which are located in the southern part of the state viz. Margao Railway Station and Vasco-da-Gama Railway Station. The South Central Railway terminus is at Vasco-da-Gama and the Konkan Railway terminus is at Margao.
